Magnitude 5.9 Earhquake Jolts Mindanao - March 16, 2012

English: Map of Surigao del Norte showing the ...Image via WikipediaA magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits Mindanao region late in the afternoon of March 16, 2012 (around  3:58 PM PH Time), as recorded by United States Geological Survey (USGS). 
Based from USGS data, the epicenter of the earthquake is located 25 km (15 miles) NNE of Surigao, Mindanao. 
The tremors were felt as far as the Visayas region and as of this listing, the damages and casualties were still unknown.
