Palace: October 31, 2011 is a Special Non-Working Holiday
Image via WikipediaPresident Benigno Aquino III declares October 31, 2011 (Monday) as a special non-working holiday throughout the Philippines.This is in accordance with Proclamation No. 265, wherein making October 31, 2011 as a holiday give full opportunity to our people to properly observe the day (All Saints Day) with all its religious fervor which invariably requires them to travel to and from different regions of the country.
October 31, 2011 falls between Sunday and Tuesday, November 1 All Saints Day.
Those employees that are required to work on that day should receive additional pay in accordance with the law.
