Long Weekend on August 2011 in Celebration of National Heroes Day and Eidl Fitr

August 29, 2011 - National Heroes Day
August 30, 2011 - Eid'l Fitr or end of Ramadan

The announcement was done by Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte via radio interview which is in line with Proclamation No. 84 issued by President Benigno "NoyNoy" Aquino III scheduling all holidays for this year 2011. 



Those who will be required to work during those dates should be compensated based on Labor Code requirements.
